We are Beantin AB (559141-5616), based in Sweden — the company behind Flourise. For the personal data of our users (bakery owners and staff), we act as the Data Controller.
If you have any questions about how we handle your data, please get in touch:
We keep it simple. For registered users, we only collect:
Account info: Your name, professional email address, and bakery name.
Usage data: Your IP address and how you interact with the tool, to help us fix bugs and improve features.
Communication: Any emails you send to our support team.
03 Why we process your data
To provide the service: We need your email to manage your account. This is based on contractual necessity.
To improve the tool: We analyse how the tool is used to make it better for all users. This is based on our legitimate interest in building a high-quality product.
Marketing: We may send you product updates. You can opt out at any time, from any email we send.
04 Data sharing & sub-processors
We don't sell your data. We only share it with the essential infrastructure partners required to run the service:
Hosting: Hostup AB, Sweden (EEA).
Email delivery: Brevo, France.
Analytics: Plausible, self-hosted by Beantin AB.
05 Data portability & the EU Data Act
In accordance with the EU Data Act (2026), you own your data.
You can request an export of your ingredient and pricing data at any time.
We provide this in a standard, machine-readable format (JSON) so you can take your data with you if you choose to leave.
There is no fee for exporting your data.
06 Your rights
Under GDPR and UK GDPR, you have the right to:
Access the personal data we hold about you, or correct it if it is inaccurate.
Delete your account — the right to be forgotten.
Object to us using your data for marketing purposes.
Complain to the Swedish IMY or the UK ICO if you feel we have handled your data incorrectly.
We keep your personal data for as long as your bakery has an active account with us.
If you close your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days — unless we are required to retain certain records for Swedish tax compliance under Bokföringslagen.
